State Tax Deadline Extended

The Louisiana Department of Revenue says taxpayers will get an extra two days to file their tax returns, after many residents had trouble accessing the department’s web site. The issues could have been linked to the fast that it was the first day essential workers during the stay at home phase could apply for 250 dollar grants — applications also being handled by LDR. State tax returns are now due Friday, July 17.
