Last night around 6:00 PM the Covington Police Department responded to North Filmore Street and Schultz Ally in reference to a shooting.
Upon officer’s arrival, officers discovered one victim who was injured in the shooting.
The injured victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Covington Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, the Criminal Patrol Division, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab, and STPSO’s District 4 Patrol Division, are investigating the shooting.
