On Monday, July 26, 2021 through August 2, 2021, there will be a FULL ROAD CLOSURE (BOTH LANES) of LA 36 from LA 434 to Horseshoe Island Rd for DOTD forces to remove and replace cross drain culverts, weather permitting.
Please use alternate routes where possible.
Motorists wishing to travel EAST on LA 36, should detour by taking LA 434 south to I-12 east to US 11 north to LA 41 west back to LA 36.
Motorists wishing to travel WEST on LA 36, should detour by taking LA 41 east to US 11 south to I-12 west to LA 434 north back to LA 36.
Emergency vehicles will NOT have access at the cross drain location. Oversized will NOT be permitted during this time.
