Northshore Technical Community College is bringing back “preview night,” a special event for individuals who are interested in the programs offered by the college, especially those who would like to enroll for the Fall 2021 semester.
The event will take place at NTCC’s Lacombe Campus, 65556 Centerpoint Blvd., on Thursday, April 15th, from 7 – 9 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
Recent high school graduates and students who will be entering their senior year of high school this fall are encouraged to attend. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the campus, hear about what is offered, and receive additional information on the Louisiana Transfer Program, which is designed to provide students the opportunity to complete the first 60 hours of course work to obtain an associate’s degree. They are then eligible to enter a 4-year Louisiana public university as a junior to complete a baccalaureate degree.
Representatives of NTCC’s Maritime Technology, Welding, Practical Nursing, STEM, and many other programs will be available to answer questions.
There will also be information about financial aid and scholarships, the admissions process, and more.
Preview night guests who pre-register at www.northshorecollege.edu will be treated to NTCC giveaways and door prize drawings. This event is appropriate for families.
