Courtney Christian School is pleased to announce Dr. Kayla Lamonte will serve as principal for the upcoming school year.
In this position, Dr. Lamonte will support Mrs. Sue Courtney as head of school as Courtney Christian School continues to grow and pursue future expansion.
Lamonte received her Bachelor of Education, Master of Education in Administration and Supervision and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University. She has more than 20 years of teaching and educational administration experience, and most recently served as assistant principal for a local school.
As the principal, Dr. Lamonte will have the responsibility of the daily operations of the school, the learning environment of the students, management of teachers and staff, and internal and external communications with students, parents, and staff.
