Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the parish’s road and bridge crews have closed a portion of West State Line Road due to a washout that compromised the roadway in Sunday’s thunderstorms.
Miller said the roadway will be closed approximately 1 mile west of US 51 and approximately .6 miles east of Amelia Smith Road. No traffic will be allowed in this area during the emergency closure, Miller said.
