Southeastern Louisiana University President John L. Crain, Student Government Association President L’Oreal Williams, and Alumni Association President Patrick Brazan were among those honoring individuals who passed away during the last two years as part of Southeastern’s Golden Silence ceremony on Wednesday.
The 2020 ceremony that would have honored those who passed away in 2019 was cancelled due to COVID-19. Sponsored by the Southeastern Alumni Association, the event brings the campus community together for a remembrance ceremony in honor of members of the Southeastern family – students, faculty, alumni, staff and friends of the university – who died the previous year.
