Yesterday the Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,413 new #COVID19 cases since Friday, April 16, 2021.
98.7% of the cases reported were community spread. 1.3% of the cases reported were in congregate settings.
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (28%) and ages 30 and 39 (17%) accounted for the largest portion of the cases.
There were 11 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 10,293.
There were 337 people in hospitals with 39 requiring ventilators.
The Department reported an additional 87,307 COVID-19 vaccinations administered since the last update. The state has now administered 2,443,129 doses, including 1,097,425 completed two-dose series.
