Monday night will be the final meeting in a series of public input sessions to gather comments about a proposed “Railroad Park” at #2 W. Thomas in Hammond’s Downtown Development District.
Monday’s community input session is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Hammond City Council Chambers, located at 312 E. Charles Street in historic downtown Hammond. The DDD offered previous community input sessions at the Hammond City Council Chambers and at the Hammond Farmers Market.
Construction is expected to begin in early fall on the re-imagined and reinvigorated public space outside the DDD offices.
