A front has stalled over the Northshore with the potential for more rain continuing Wednesday.
As of early this morning Hammond was on the dry side of the front while Slidell continues to get rain and is forecast to get a good bit more today.
St. Tammany Parish President Mike Cooper is asking citizens to stay tuned to local weather as St. Tammany is under a Flash Flood Watch through the evening of Thursday, March 25. Parish Government will also be pre-positioning high water signs in low-lying areas in the event wind and/or rain conditions make it necessary to close or post roads. St Tammany Parish Officials will continue to closely watch this system and are asking residents to do the same.
