
Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 974 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases reported to 438,557.
Of those cases, 582 were confirmed and 392 were probable. 99.4% of the cases reported were community spread. Individuals between the ages of 30 and 39 (20%) and ages 40 and 49 (18%) accounted for the largest portion of the cases.
There were 22 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 9,925.
There were 453 people in hospitals and 62 required ventilators.
