A full road closure is scheduled for next week for slope paving under the U.S. 190 overpass on Interstate 12, according to the Department of Transportation. I-12 will have a full road closure with a scheduled start of February 1 at 10 p.m. and a scheduled end of February 3 at 5 a.m. weather permitting. This closure will occur nightly. DOTD says the location starts at I-12 Eastbound Ramp and ends at U.S. 190 West. The ramp will also have a full closure starting February 04, at 10:00 p.m. and a scheduled end of Feb. 5 at 5 a.m.
Motorists traveling on I-12 that need to exit at U.S. 190 West (Exit 63B) should take Exit 63A towards U.S. 190 East and transition to U.S. 190 West at Fairway Drive/Judge Tanner Boulevard. Drivers and emergency vehicles will not have access during these hours.
