Dept of Health Update

Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health 1,402 new #COVID19 cases. Of those cases, 1,297 were confirmed cases and 105 were probable. 96% of the cases reported were community spread. 4% were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (17%) and between the ages of 30 and 39 (17%) accounted for 34% of these cases. There were 45 new deaths reported yesterday, bringing the current total death count to 7,918. There are 1,982 patients in hospitals and 232 of them require ventilators.
