Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard confirms that one male is in LPSO custody and that Curtis Savoie was responsible for a shooting incident in Livingston Parish earlier this week. Savoie was located at a residence off of Heritage Lane in Springfield. Detectives also recovered the vehicle involved. During this investigation, Savoie was also found to be in possession of firearms & illegal narcotics – all of which was recovered by detectives. Savoie, from Loranger, is currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center. Sheriff Ard offered special thanks to members of the U.S. Marshals task force for their assistance on the case.
