The Louisiana Department of Health reported 971 #COVID19 cases yesterday. Of these cases, 951 are confirmed cases and 20 are probable cases. 95% of the cases were community spread. 5% of the cases were in congregate settings. Individuals between 18-29 represent 20% of these cases. Of the tests reported, 10,248 were PCR tests and 169 were antigen tests. There were 24 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 6,284. 1,012 people are in hospitals, the first time in three months Louisiana hospitals have had this large a coronavirus patient count, and 114 are on ventilators.
