Andi Matheu, Registrar of Voters in Tangipahoa Parish says with the help of the Tangipahoa Parish Government, they will move BOTH early voting locations for the November 3, 2020 election ONLY. Making this move will allow for greater social distancing while giving room to use the maximum number of voting machines allotted to the parish.
The Amite Courthouse location will be moved to the Tangi Parish Arena located at 1301 NW Central Ave in Amite.
The Hammond – Club Deluxe location will be moved to the Clausen Building located at 15485 W Club Deluxe Rd in Hammond.
There will be signage posted at ALL locations directing voters to the correct address. Early Voting dates are Friday, October 16, through Tuesday, October 27, from 8AM – 7PM (excluding Sunday).
