The Louisiana Department of Health reported new positive coronavirus test results increased by 2,343 since Sunday. Officials reported 23 more COVID-19 deaths. Hospitalizations increased by 43, up to 1,600 total. Ventilator use up by 24, with a total of 208. 98% of the new cases reported were from community use.
