
On February 5, 2025, the Hammond Police Department responded to a report of multiple vehicle burglaries at Walk On’s Sports Bistreaux, located at 305 C.M. Fagan Drive.
Upon arrival, HPD officers discovered two vehicles were burglarized, with multiple items taken from both vehicles.
On February 7, 2025, HPD was notified by one of the victims that someone had attempted to use the victim’s credit card at an ATM at Racetrac, located at 1975 Southwest Railroad Avenue. HPD detectives responded and were able to obtain video of a suspect attempting to use the card. The suspect was wearing a dark-colored jacket with white strips on the side. The jacket appeared similar to one worn by the suspect in the burglaries at Walk On’s.
