Last week Thomas “TJ” Joseph, 51 years old of Ponchatoula, was arrested by the Hammond Police Department Narcotics Division, with the assistance of the HPD K-9 Division.
Detectives observed what appeared to be an illegal narcotics transaction at RaceTrac, located on Highway 190 West. Detectives learned Joseph sold methamphetamine during the transaction.
Joseph was placed under arrest. A large sum of money and additional suspected illegal narcotics (i.e. cocaine) were located on him and in the vehicle involved in the transaction. Joseph is a convicted felon currently on parole for illegal narcotics charges.
