Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a man from Independence on November 6, 2024.
23-year-old Michael L. Strahan, of Arthur Bankston Road in Independence, was arrested for Pornography Involving Juveniles, Under the age of 17 (Felony) 20 Counts.
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit and Fugitive Apprehension Unit, the Louisiana State Police Fugitive Task Force, and the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Strahan was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
