
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’ Daniel Edwards announces a new reward amount for any information regarding the homicide of Arthur Tyler, which took place inside the Village of Tangipahoa in 2014.
On September 22, 2014 at 4:06 AM, deputies were dispatched to Silo Road in the Village of Tangipahoa after a 911 reported a male had been shot in his driveway. When deputies arrived, a male later identified as Tyler was found on the ground, unconscious, next to a vehicle.
According to family, Tyler had just returned home from a friend’s residence when a verbal altercation was overheard outside the front door. After hearing three gunshots, Tyler’s wife looked out the front door and observed two subjects running down the road.
One suspect was reported to have been wearing a hoodie, but no other information regarding their identity is available.
Sheriff Edwards says the reward for this case has been increased to $10,000.
