Yesterday the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 37 YO Johnny Robinson of Amite in connection with the shooting death of his wife.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards says deputies responded to reports of a shooting on Garrick Road in Roseland just before 4:30 AM. After arriving on scene, deputies located an unresponsive female inside the home who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The unresponsive female was later pronounced deceased and was identified as 31 YO Brittney London of Roseland.
Through the course of the investigation, Robinson was taken into custody in connection with the murder of London, who was the mother of six children.
Robinson was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail where he was charged with (1) count Second Degree Murder and (1) count Violation of a Protective Order.
