Over the weekend the Tangipahoa Parish School System proudly announced that they officially have the 2024 Louisiana High School Teacher of the Year.
Dennis Pevey, a science teacher at Ponchatoula High School, received this prestigious recognition at the Seventeenth Annual Cecil J. Picard Educator Excellence Awards Gala.
Tangi Schools said congratulations to Dennis and said his dedication to his profession, the educational expectations of his students, and his drive was so very admirable.
