The Hammond Police Department is currently investigating several vehicle burglaries that occurred on July 3 around the South Magnolia Street area.
HPD detectives learned that at approximately 3:30 pm a white Chrysler 300 entered a parking lot on South Magnolia. Two individuals exited the vehicle and began shattering windows to multiple vehicles in the parking lot. Multiple items were taken from inside of the vehicles, including firearms.
