According to a statement issued by Saint Paul’s, Brother Raymond Bulliard, FSC, died on Monday.
The school said students were told about his death Monday morning.
Brother Ray had served at the school for decades, with much of it as president. He worked at the school for 45 years and was known for his guidance and disciplinary style.
Brother Ray was diagnosed with cancer in December 2022. He retired from his school position in February.
Current interim president at St. Paul’s, Trevor Watkins, said Brother Ray helped lead the transition from being a boarding school to a day school.
Watkins said they will celebrate Brother Ray’s life at a later time and the school will publish those details when finalized. In accordance with his wishes, his funeral arrangements are expected to be private, but the school is expected to arrange some kind of memorial service for the public.
