Southeastern Louisiana University continues battling campus-wide technology issues.
They issued a statement yesterday saying they learned of a potential incident within its network, requiring the university to intentionally take the network offline as a preventative measure. Since then, they said they have been working to restore systems to normal operations as quickly and safely as possible.
They also reported the incident to the Louisiana State Police, which is conducting an investigation into this matter.
Southeastern says once systems return to service, individuals will be prompted to create a new password the first time they log in to the system before returning to normal usage.
Southeastern says all dining locations are open and accepting meal plan swipes, Cub Cash, Lion’s Lagniappe, and cash. Credit card transactions were not being processed as of late last night.
