
On Valentine’s Day Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force detectives arrested 33 YO Romerro “Lil Frank” Morris, a resident of 432 Michigan Avenue.
Morris was an active seller of illegal narcotics including heroin, Fentanyl, methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone and Alprazolam.
At the time of his arrest, he had more than $1,000 of drug sale proceeds on his person. He also was in possession of a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic pistol.
The arrest of Morris was the result of an investigation into his drug dealing activities. The investigation produced substantial evidence which resulted in a search warrant issued by the 22nd Judicial District Court for his Michigan Avenue house.
Morris was booked into the Washington Parish Jail charged with eight counts of possession of illegal drugs with intent to distribute, several counts of possession of illegal drugs, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with a firearm present, three counts of contempt of court and failure to appear in court. He has several previous drug related arrests in Washington Parish beginning in 2011 and continuing in 2012, 2019 2021 and twice in 2022.
