St. Tammany Coroner Dr. Charles Preston has made his rulings on the cause and manner of death for 44 YO William Coile of Mandeville, whose body was recovered from Lake Pontchartrain on Monday evening.
Based on autopsy results and other investigation, Preston has ruled the cause of death was asphyxiation by drowning, and the manner of death was accidental.
He went missing after borrowing a boat from a friend. That boat was found floating under the Causeway Bridge, with no one on board.
