Ponchatoula Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying a person who may have been involved in the stabbing of a store clerk.
Chief Bry Layrisson said the attack occurred at a Texaco gas station on Highway 22 in the eastern part of the city.
The victim suffered injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
The unidentified white female is a person of interest in the attack.
It is believed that the female was driving a dark blue Nissan Frontier Desert Runner.
