DOTD continues to work in the Covington area on the I-12 expansion project.
They will have nighttime partial closures of the left lane between LA 21 and Highway 190 starting this week through at least next Tuesday. One lane will remain open at all times. This will be from 8 pm to 6 am daily. There will be no other vehicle restrictions and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time. Crews will be performing bridge construction operations.
There will be single-lane closures on a portion of US 190 in Slidell starting now through Saturday July 20. This alternating lane closure will be nightly from 8 PM until 6 AM. The affected areas will be between I-10 and US11. Crews will be performing sawcutting and concrete patching. One lane will remain open at all times. There will be no other vehicle restrictions and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
