
Two Slidell men are facing Attempted Murder charges after shooting another man during an altercation.
Early Thursday morning Slidell Police received a call about a shooting in the 2700 block of 10th Street.
Officers located a victim, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital and was expected to survive and make a full recovery.
In less than 12 hours, Slidell Police investigators were able to identify and arrest the two suspects responsible for the shooting.
20 YO Owen Crawford of Slidell and Laromeo Jones of Slidell are both facing Attempted 2nd Degree Homicide charges. Crawford was additionally charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Slidell Police Chief Randy Fandal praised his officers for making a quick arrest in this case saying due to the hard work of officers and detectives, they were able to quickly take dangerous criminals off the streets.
