New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and New Orleans Police Superintendent Shaun Ferguson expressed disgust at a video that shows the execution-style murder of a woman this week.
B.J. Brown is in custody for the shooting after authorities caught him in Tennessee. He is also facing charges there of shooting a police officer.
The video had been posted to social media and shared numerous times.
Ferguson questioned why whoever made the video didn’t call 911 as they witnessed what was happening.
The video shows a woman down on the ground, then a man armed with a long gun walks up, aims it at the woman, and fires twice.
