Around 8:00 pm on January 17, 2022, deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 33,000 stretch of LA Hwy 441 in Holden regarding an armed robbery.
Sheriff Jason Ard said upon arrival, LPSO deputies made contact with a male victim. The victim had a cut to his head.
Detectives learned that an unidentified ‘masked’ suspect confronted the victim outside of his home & then, attacked him. The suspect was armed & demanded the victim’s money & valuables.
Once the suspect gained access to those things, the victim was tied up.
The suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle: a 2005 Ford Taurus.
Now there has been a fifth arrest tied to the attack & armed robbery. Sheriff Jason Ard confirmed Neal Chollette was arrested yesterday by LPSO for Criminal Conspiracy to Armed Robbery. Other arrests in this case so far include John Bailey, Rauman Laurent, Samuel Peavy, and Pauline McCarthy.
