Whether committing crimes in the streets, the office, in homes or via the internet, those who break the law must be held accountable.
The keys to making this happen are awareness, action and having sufficient resources to investigate, arrest and prosecute the perpetrators.
The Northshore Collaborative’s April meeting will feature Slidell Police Department Lt. Ricky Walden, who will share eye-opening information about internet predators, and DA Warren Montgomery focusing on the critical role of the D.A.’s office in the community.
“Crime and Consequences” will be presented Wednesday, April 13 at Counter Culture, 154 East Hall Blvd. in Slidell, with networking beginning at 5:00 pm and the meeting at 5:30 pm.
Guests will enjoy tasty fare and beverages from Counter Culture, courtesy of Coastal Environmental Services. The meeting is free for members and to guests interested in learning more about the Northshore Collaborative’s efforts to support small businesses, nonprofits and community organizations.
