The location for the Sunday, March 20, Third Sunday Concert sponsored by Christ Episcopal Church, Covington, has been changed the Christwood Atrium, beginning at 5 p.m. (doors open at 4:30 p.m.).
Christwood is located south of Covington off Louisiana 21 at 100 Christwood Blvd.
The change is being made to avoid access and parking issues related to Chef Soiree 2022, which is also scheduled for Sunday, March 20, at Bogue Falaya Park adjacent to Christ Church.
Peter Collins, of New Orleans, is an independent piano teacher and music researcher. He is a professor emeritus from Missouri State University where he taught and served as keyboard area coordinator for 25 years.
The Third Sunday Concert series, now in its 31st year, is an outreach of Christ Episcopal Church, Covington.
The concerts are free and open to the public.
The 2021-2022 Third Sunday Concert Series will conclude on May 15 with a performance by clarinetist Ben Redwine.
