
On Friday Mandeville Police reported the arrest of a man after disturbance at Mandeville High School.
The incident began after the Mandeville Police School Resource Officer was notified that an adult male was walking around the campus of Mandeville High School with a dog. The man was shouting profanities at students.
Shortly after, the school Resource Officer located the male on the track. Other Officers responded and at one point the male charged at Officers and had to be forcefully detained.
Christopher Burns, 28 YO from Madisonville was arrested and booked into St. Tammany Jail for multiple charges including possession of schedule II narcotics, unauthorized entry, resisting police with force and being a fugitive from another agency.
Animal control took possession of the dog.
