Demario Davis brushed off a bizarre moment with a laugh when asked about an incident following the Saints’ victory over the Jets.
It came in the moments following the end of the game, while players were still on the field, shaking hands and exchanging jerseys and pleasantries.
That’s when a fan came running onto the field in the direction of Demario Davis.
The fan appeared to be wearing a Saints jersey under a flannel jacket.
He was tackled from behind by an officer at the stadium and the pair collided with Davis’ legs before the fan was led off in handcuffs.
Luckily the Saints star defensive player was not injured in the incident.
