
After receiving a tip from the public Monday morning, suspect Trevon Robertson was apprehended at 302 West Pine Street, Amite for outstanding charges of Armed Robbery with a Firearm, 2nd Degree Kidnapping, False Imprisonment, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and a Probation and Parole violation.
Officers went to the residence, but the suspect refused to answer the door.
After obtaining a search warrant, officers made entry to the residence with the assistance of Probation & Parole and a Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit.
Upon officers entering the residence the suspect was found hiding behind a bedroom door and surrendered without incident.
Robertson was booked on the above charges along with being in Possession of a Stolen Firearm reported stolen from Livingston Parish and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
