Beau Box Commercial Real Estate announced it represented buyer Michael Mathews in the purchase transaction of the 15,000 sq ft shopping center at 3900 Hwy. 22 in Mandeville, Louisiana.
The property, which will now take the name of Backpacker Northshore Square, sold to Michael Mathews.
Mathews, owner of Baton Rouge-based The Backpacker, plans to expand and occupy 7,500 sq ft of the building for the adventure store’s third location.
Mathews will remodel and significantly enhance the 15,000 sq ft property. 6,000 sq ft of commercial space is available for lease now by Beau Box Commercial Real Estate, while estimated completion of the future The Backpacker’s renovation completion is slated for Summer 2022. The Backpacker’s Mandeville store is scheduled to open October 2022.
