Covington Police are investigating a stabbing that happened Wednesday morning.
Police say officers responded to the intersection of N. Taylor Street and Schoultz Drive after reports of a man suffering from stab wounds lying in the street.
Covington police say they rendered aid to the man until he was taken to an area hospital by EMS.
Police say the man suffered multiple stab wounds to the torso but was listed as stable yesterday.
The Covington Police Department Criminal Investigations Division has taken over this investigation and is asking the public to contact the Covington Police Department if they have any information relative to this stabbing, by calling 985-892-8500.
