As a result of the impacts from Hurricane Ida, Southeastern Louisiana University’s annual Giving Day, originally scheduled Sept. 14, has been moved to Oct. 5.
Southeastern Foundation Director of Development Vanessa Prentice said Giving Day will provide university supporters with over 70 different projects and programs to help students, as well as the university. She added that every donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference for students.
Organized by the Southeastern Foundation, this year’s Giving Day marks the seventh annual university-wide fundraising event.
