Raising the Roof for Charity Foundation has postponed their Grand Drawing for a new home.
The winning ticket for the Charity Home will be pulled Sunday, December 5th at 3:00 pm.
Foundation President Dodie Adams said at a time when the community is in desperate need of resources following Hurricane Ida, they decided it was best to pause final construction on the Raffle Home. Adams added that when the time is right and the home is completed, an open house schedule will be announced.
The Raising the Roof Home is built by members of the Northshore Home Builders Association who donate their time, talent, and product to build a home of exceptional quality. Tickets are available for $100 and one lucky person will win a brand-new home. The Foundation has donated over $5 million dollars to local charities since 1994.
This year Kyle Cooper, of Cooper Homes, and Brandi Heath of L&H Homes are building a beautiful, three bed, two bath home on a waterfront lot in the subdivision of Abita Ridge in Covington.
