The St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce’s Swinging for Scholarships Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30, this year at Pinewood Golf Club in Slidell.
Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for St. Tammany students planning to attend a Louisiana college or university.
Tournament registration is at 8 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Players will enjoy putting for proof, closest to the hole and longest drive contests; business networking opportunities; a light breakfast and lunch from Pinewood Plantation; and knowing that proceeds will benefit local scholars.
