Q: Why do we pinch people on St Patrick’s Day?
Answer: Because they’re not wearing green… Pinching people on St. Patrick’s Day is an American tradition based on the folklore that wearing green makes you invisible to leprechauns, which like to pinch anyone they can see. The pinch acts as a reminder that you are visible to these mischievous creatures, making the wearer a target.
