Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a Slidell man last week.
23-year-old Devan Matthew Pettit, of 9th Street in Slidell, was arrested for Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; 15 counts.
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
This arrest was the result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. Pettit was transported to the St. Tammany Parish Jail and booked accordingly.
The investigation is ongoing.
