
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) has arrested four individuals in connection with a shots fired incident earlier this month with a fifth suspect still at large.
Jacob “Spanky” Chaney, 18 of Independence, Irvin “Teezy” Foster, 18 of Amite, Trevon “Treco” Bates, 19 of Fluker, and LilJames “Nuke” Gibson, 25 of Fluker, have all been booked on one count each of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Illegal Discharge of a Firearm. Gibson faces an additional charge of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
In the afternoon hours of Wednesday, October 2, deputies responded to a call for shots fired on White Oak Lane in Fluker. Detectives learned two groups had gotten into a verbal altercation that turned violent with the groups engaging in a shootout. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Over the past few weeks, the suspects have been identified and taken into custody except one. Alfred Boatwright, 19 of Independence, is wanted on the same charges as the other four suspects.
