Detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Major Crime Unit are investigating a shooting which occurred Monday afternoon outside a Slidell-area business.
Shortly before 4 p.m. Monday (October 14), STPSO deputies were dispatched to a parking lot near the intersection of Gause Boulevard and Military Road in reference to a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, deputies located two individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. A male was pronounced dead on scene, and a female was transported by emergency medical personnel to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation, but it appears to be domestic in nature and all involved individuals are accounted for.
