Parish President Mike Cooper has announced Keep St. Tammany Beautiful will hold a second Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day this Fall in Slidell.
The drop-off event will be held at the Northshore Square Mall parking lot in Slidell on November 16, from 8 a.m. to Noon.
President Cooper said the hazardous waste collection days give citizens a chance to properly dispose of the harmful items around their home, which protects their health and the environment. Citizens must pre-register online for a drop-off time, as the event is limited to the first 500 cars.
