
The public is invited to the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce’s Explore Northshore: Business and Community Expo on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 3-7 p.m.
The Expo takes place at The Harbor Center located at 100 Harbor Center Blvd. in Slidell.
Admission is free.
With nearly 100 exhibitors, the Expo offers information about goods and services available to them. Attendees can view the exhibits, network, talk face-to-face with business and community representatives, register for door prizes and giveaways, enjoy special family friendly activities—and more.
The Expo Expert Seminar Series features three free 30-minute informative sessions: “How does Artificial Intelligence Impact My Business” at 3:30 p.m. with Grant Black, St. Tammany Parish Government Director of Technology; “The Tale of Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace” at 4:30 p.m. with Gretchen McKinney, Chief People Strategist with incHRement, LLC; and “How to Beat the Competition with AI” at 5:30 p.m. with Don Monistere, CEO and President of General Informatics.
The Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive on site.
The Sheriff’s Office will have several special tactical vehicles onsite for the public to view firsthand.
