The fifth annual Bluesberry Music + Art Festival will take place in Covington, Louisiana’s riverside Bogue Falaya Park on Saturday, October 5, with a stellar lineup of regional and national talent.
Headlining this full-day celebration of blues music and the arts is Texas blues-rock singer/songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Ally Venable. Other featured performances include Louisiana Music Hall of Fame inductee and Guitar Center’s 2011 “King of the Blues” winner Jonathon “Boogie” Long, a crowd favorite from Bluesberry’s 2022 festival; Blues Foundation Award winner and guitarist Laurie Morvan; Austin-based guitarist, singer, and songwriter Gary Cain; and South Louisiana roots/blues musician Josh Garrett.
In addition to music, the festival features more than 20 artists selling their original work, an interactive painting tent, local food truck roundup, beer garden, spirits tent, children’s village and more. And the festival is FREE for children ages 10 and up.
General admission to the festival is $25 online, $30 at the gate.
Festival parking will be available at the St. Tammany Justice Center, and the Gulf Coast Bank Trolley and Royal Coach Trolley will be running throughout the day, transporting festival patrons to and from Bogue Falaya Park.
